Steven Slovak has been involved with the commodity and foreign exchange markets for well over 25 years. He joined Penson Futures in 2007 to set up and manage the Tangible Commodity Desk. Prior to joining Penson Futures, he spent over 10 years running a similar operation in New York.

He spent the better part of 80's and early 90's gaining exposure to and experience in many segments of the futures industry. After graduating from Rutgers Newark in 1982 he joined a small team of proprietary traders developing computer based stock index trading programs. In 1983 he joined a major brokerage where his duties included writing daily technical commentaries, handling execution for overseas branch offices, managed accounts, and later an in house multi-assets class fund. Also in the 80's he worked with a commodity management services firm that focused on CRB Index arbitrage and capital introduction. Subsequently, Steven was responsible for the day to day operations of an Introducing Broker that specialized in foreign exchange and precious metals.
Brian Wagner joined efutures.com, a division of Penson Futures, in 1996, where his knowledge and expertise of the financial markets and index futures has been a great asset.
