Penson Futures combined its futures business with Penson Financial Services, Inc. (PFSI). Just like Penson Futures, PFSI is a wholly owned subsidiary of Penson Worldwide Inc. and is a registered broker-dealer.

Penson GHCO acquires Wolcott & Lincoln, LLC, an FCM located at the Kansas City Board of Trade.

Penson Worldwide acquires Goldenberg, Hehmeyer & Co. and First Capitol Group, including First Capitol Ag and efutures.com, the company is renamed Penson GHCO.

GHCO expands its Chicago operation and moves to its current location at 600 West Chicago Avenue.
